WILLIAM (BILL) THOMPSON On Sunday 25th July 2021, peacefully with his sons by his side, 94 years. The dearly loved husband of the late Edith, a much loved father of Bill and Peter and their wives Catherine and Roz. A loving grandad to Megan, Scarlett, Baylie, Will, Edith and Red and great grandad to Edward Bear. A longstanding, well respected local businessman and recognised as a true gentleman. Bill will be sadly missed by his family, friends and the community of Mellor. A cremation will take place at Pleasington Crematorium on Thursday 12th August 2021 at 12.15pm prior to a Service of Thanksgiving at St Marys Church Mellor at 1.00pm. Family flowers only. Enq.
