IRIS DIXON Peacefully, on Saturday 27th February 2021, after a prolonged and very brave battle with declining health, IRIS, aged 84 years. The beloved wife of the late Canon John Dixon, devoted and dearly-loved mother of Judith and Andrew, mother-in-law to Joanne, treasured nana of Thomas and William and a dear friend to many. Due to current restrictions a private funeral service will be held at St Stephen's Church, Little Harwood prior to interment at St Peter's Churchyard, Salesbury. Family flowers only please but donations if so desired in memory of Iris are being received for Cancer Research UK and or The Christie Hospital C/O Mr A Dixon, 3 Pasturelands Drive, Billington, Clitheroe, Lancs, BB7 9LP.
