MARION BLACKLEDGE ( NEE WHITTLE) Peacefully after a short illness in hospital on Wednesday 6th January aged 83 years. Lately of Queens lodge, formerly of Waterfield Avenue Much loved wife of the late Harry mother of Diane and Peter. Wonderful grandmother to Georgia and Jan. Marion will be sadly missed by all her family and friends, A funeral service will be held at St. Barnabas Church. Watery Lane Darwen on Friday 15th January at 12.00 noon Followed by interment in Darwen Eastern Cemetery. Marion would like you to wear a splash of colour. Family flowers only please, but donations will be gratefully received in memory of Marion for The Royal British Legion (cheques only please ) c/o Darwen Funeral Service, 59-61, Blackburn Road, Darwen.
