Adam Sandler says his daughters were impressed that he got to work with Selena Gomez
Adam Sandler has revealed he got some street cred with his kids after making a movie with Selena Gomez.
The funnyman enlisted the Disney star to appear in his new animated movie Hotel Transylvania, much to the delight of his daughters Sadie, six, and Sunny, three.
"I was always pretty cool with my kids because look at me, I'm fantastic," he joked.
"But with Selena, it's a nice conversation to have at home, we got to talk about her, what she wore when I saw her that day and what she said, and Selena did little videos and said hello to my kids and it was nice."
In the movie, Adam plays Dracula, overprotective dad to Selena's character Mavis. The comic said he could relate to the role.
He added: "My kids are six and three so hopefully they're not dating yet, but I will be psychotic, I know that."
Adam also said he was getting a positive response from young and old fans for Hotel Transylvania.
"Straight up happiness from kids when I walk down the street, that's nice. Parents are actually giving me some respect. Usually I get parents yelling at me that how dare you make those movies, but now I'm on their team all of a sudden."
