One Direction are the latest music stars to make a Pepsi ad, according to reports
One Direction are following in the footsteps of Madonna, Michael Jackson and David Beckham by starring in a Pepsi ad.
The chart-toppers have signed a multi-million dollar deal with the drinks giant, The Sun reported.
Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have already filmed the video, which will be shown across the US, in a secret location.
A source was quoted as saying: "This is a huge deal for them in monetary terms - but even bigger for status as the coverage they'll get from it is massive.
"They're already stars across America, but this could catapult them to superstardom."
Other stars who have previously featured in Pepsi ads include Pink, Beyonce and Britney Spears.
The former X Factor finalists, who will appear with US football stars, recently made an agreement to keep their name following a legal dispute with a US act.
