Manning and Bugner jungle battle

Stuart Manning and Joe Bugner will go head to head in a trial Stuart Manning and Joe Bugner will go head to head in a trial

Stuart Manning and Joe Bugner will go head-to-head to stay on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! after receiving the fewest votes in a phone vote.

The two celebrities will face a trial in Jungle Jail with the loser being sent home.

Earlier, television presenter Justin Ryan survived an underwater ordeal with crocodiles and spiders to win a meal for his jungle mates - but hurt his nose in the process.

The panicking interior designer smashed into the wall of the first chamber he entered for the Bushtucker Trial and had to be checked over by first aiders before carrying on with the challenge.

Once the clock was restarted, Ryan went on to brave more crocodiles as well as cane toads and yabbies and finished with the full quota of eight stars. But at one point he screamed out when he felt something biting him and told presenters Ant and Dec he had "never been so scared in all my life".

Collapsing at their feet as he emerged from the water, Ryan said: "I'm totally freaked out. That was absolutely terrifying, I got off to a bad start when I got in the water, I couldn't see my way out. I had water in my goggles and I just swam into the end rather than get out, that was my fault and I freaked out under water."

When he broke the news to the camp, he tricked them into thinking he had had to stop because of his bloody nose before revealing he was successful in the end, saying: "I experienced what must be a true adrenaline rush because it felt like the most exhilarating experience in the world." His fellow celebrities were served a meal of wallaby as a reward for the trial.

Meanwhile, the stars of the ITV1 programme were treated to a speed dating session with actor George Hamilton. After spending three minutes with the celebrities, the lothario gave his verdict, describing snooker star Jimmy White as humorous with a "beguiling charm", singer Sabrina Washington as "alluring" and former Hollyoaks actor Stuart Manning as having "every manner and charm but an old world style".

But the winner was heavyweight boxer Joe Bugner, who won Hamilton over with his direct approach. "I have to say that after tonight, the one I would like to be with most is Joe," he said. "You were to the point and honest. You were to the point and charming, there was a certain directness."
