Bieber gets baptised in bath tub

This Is Lancashire: Justin Bieber has reportedly been baptised Justin Bieber has reportedly been baptised

Justin Bieber has apparently shown he is cleaning up his act by getting baptised.

The pop star - who has been in hot water after videos showing him using racist language emerged - has been studying the Bible and followed it up by getting baptised in a bath tub at a friend's house.

Pastor Carl Lentz, a leader in the Hillsong Church in New York who works with the singer in America, told gossip site TMZ that he completed an intensive study with Justin in May, with the star reading the Bible and attending services.

Justin, 20, then decided to get baptised but struggled to find the right church because he was so determined to keep it private.

The Beauty And The Beat singer then chose to have the ceremony performed in a friend's bathroom, so that he could keep it quiet.

Justin, who is believed to have been baptised as a child, is a fan of the Hillsong Church and has previously tweeted a message to Lentz saying: "Amazing sermon at church this morning. Love you man. I broke down today."

Meanwhile, Justin's mentor Usher has spoken out after the controversial videos, which Justin has apologised for, were made public.

The RnB star posted a message on his Twitter account supporting his young protege.

He wrote: "At my core, I am a person that supports growth and understands without judgment, that growth often comes as a result of pain and continues effort. As I have watched Justin Bieber navigate difficult waters as a young man, I can tell you that he hasn't always chosen the path of his greatest potential, but he is unequivocally not a racist.

"What he was 5 years ago was a naive child who did not understand the negative power and degradation that comes from playing with racial slurs. What he is now is a young man faced with an opportunity to become his best self, an example to the millions of kids that follow him to not make the same mistakes."

Wow! Born again Christian.
Who would have thought?
Will look for an improvement in his character and actions.
Mind most of this childish racism was when he was 15, to be fair.
