Halle Berry has opened up about her "geriatric pregnancy".
The 47-year-old became a mum again in October and told The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she had assumed she was too old to have another baby.
The X-Men: Days Of Future Past actress, whose baby boy is son to actor Olivier Martinez, said: "I didn't think it was possible at my age honestly.
"They call it a geriatric pregnancy."
She added: "This is probably way TMI, (too much information) but I was really kinda premenopausal, so to have this happen was huge."
The actress said her six-year-old daughter Nahla's prayers for a sibling helped give her baby Maceo, saying: "Only her prayers could have done this."
She added: "He's like one of her dollies that came to life. All she wants to do is change his clothes. She'll purposely throw something on his shirt and say, 'Oh, mommy, he's got to change his shirt. He has a mess on him!"
Halle also talked about marrying Olivier last July and said that she'd have never imagined tying the knot or becoming a mum again, according to US Weekly.
"Two things that I swore I would never ever do again in life," Halle, who was previously married twice, to Eric Benet and David Justice, said.
"I mean, I didn't think it was possible to have another baby and I thought for sure I had a need never to get married again.
"So, I've learned never to say never."
