One Direction have taken time out from their busy touring schedule to visit Machu Picchu.
The boyband - Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - were greeted by fans as they climbed the ancient Inca ruins in Peru.
The group stopped by the 15th-century site after playing a concert at Peru's National Stadium in the capital Lima.
An excited group of teenage girls yelled as the pop stars arrived at the airport in Cusco, before the band members made their way to the Machu Picchu archaeological site, venerated by the Incas as a place of worship for the Gods of the sun and the moon.
Liam made time to pose with fans and taking a selfie of himself with Mark Jarvis, a mixed martial arts trainer who is working with the group on their fitness regime.
"Me and @M1Jarvis up a hill aha," he tweeted.
One Direction are set to play more gigs in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil before continuing the Where We Are tour in Europe.
Their latest show saw 47 concert-goers treated for asphyxia after getting crushed as they tried to get to the front rows. The group pleaded for fans to calm down before they stopped performing, and warned the surging crowd that they would walk off the stage.
Footage showed Niall Horan saying: "If you don't want anyone to take us off the stage, make sure you stay back," before his bandmate Liam Payne added: "Or we'll have to go - and we don't want to go."
