Adam Sandler was a blast to work with on his new movie, according to one of his co-stars.
Bridesmaids actress Wendi McLendon-Covey stars opposite the funnyman in his new flick Blended, about a man and a woman who find themselves stuck on holiday together after a bad blind date.
The film reunites Adam with his 50 First Dates co-star Drew Barrymore as the central pair and Wendi said she had a blast while filming.
"Drew is just as sweet as you think she would be and Adam is a kick in the pants, as is everyone who works with him.
"It was just an all-round good experience, I couldn't be prouder. I have had a very good year."
Speaking on the red carpet at the Paley Centre for Media in Beverly Hills, where her 80s-themed TV show The Goldbergs was being honoured, Wendi reflected on her style mishaps in times gone by.
"I really felt that I looked amazing in the 80s, the trauma now would come from seeing I looked like an idiot in the 80s and we all did.
"I have the yearbook photos to prove I was a moron and should have left my hair alone and not worn so much green eyeliner. We all had bad taste in the 80s.
"All the sweaters on the show remind me of the horrible things we all wore while thinking we were all nailing it fashion-wise."
