Zoe Hobbs, the wife of Strictly's Brendan Cole, gave birth to a baby girl on Christmas Day
Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan Cole became a father on Christmas Day, he has announced.
The 36-year-old dancer's model wife of two years Zoe gave birth to a girl on December 25, he wrote on Twitter.
It is the couple's first child.
The New Zealander wrote: "My wonderful wife & I had the best Christmas present ever. Our baby daughter arrived on Christmas Day. Zoe & Baby (sic) doing great! Very precious."
Brendan, who partnered Olympic cycling gold medallist Victoria Pendleton in the last series of Strictly, partnered model Kelly Brook on the pre-recorded Christmas Day special of the show.
It came third in the overnight ratings with 7.8 million viewers.
