Timberlake wedding video outrage
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel's lavish wedding has become the subject of scandal after a video of homeless people wishing them well was leaked online.
The SexyBack singer and the Total Recall actress tied the knot in Italy at the weekend and it has emerged Timberlake's friend Justin Huchel made a spoof video to play at the wedding featuring vagrants, transsexuals and buskers congratulating the happy couple on their marriage.
The video was posted by gossip website Gawker.com but has since been taken down after a lawyer representing Huchel said the copyrighted video had been stolen.
The opening title to the video read: "Greetings from Your Hollywood Friends Who Just Couldn't Make It. Featuring Sid, Chuck, Robert, and More!"
The people featured in the video seem to be Hollywood vagrants and some appear to be intoxicated. One toothless man tells the camera: "Justin and Jessica, I haven't seen you for a long time. I hope the wedding goes fine for you. My gift is in the mail." He later spoke to another gossip website, TMZ.com, who identify him as Eddie, and said he was paid forty dollars for the message and had no idea who or what it was for.
Huchel's lawyer Michael J Saltz wrote to Gawker: "Mr Huchel made a video to be used and exhibited privately at Justin Timberlake's wedding as a private joke without Mr Timberlake's knowledge. Further, Mr Huchel informs us that his copyrighted video was recently stolen."
The video has apparently offended some fans, who have posted messages online saying it was in poor taste.
Meanwhile, Timberlake's grandmother Sadie Bomar revealed to The Daily Mirror that the singer had flown her a piece of wedding cake 5,000 miles, as she was unable to attend the wedding. The star's grandfather Bill was in hospital and so his grandparents were unable to fly to Italy.
