CHRIS Casper has accused the Football League of double standards after they chose not to impose a points deduction on relegation rivals Accrington Stanley for fielding an ineligible player.
The Shakers were deducted one point last season for playing loanee Colin Marrison after his contract has expired, and became the first professional club ever to be expelled from the FA Cup earlier this season for a similar offence involving Stephen Turnbull.
But Accrington were fined just £12,000 for two discretions involving two youth players.
"As far as my football club has been treated over the last 12 months, I am absolutely sick," Casper said.
"I am pleased for Accrington, and for John Coleman, but you can't defend the people in power, I think they are weak and pathetic.
"Rules are rules and we know that more than anybody.
"It has happened to us twice now.
"They set a precedent against us last year, have they set another one now?"
