Vale of Lune extended their winning sequence to five games following their six try victory against Tyldesley in a Powergen North Two West fixture, the result moving them into fifth place.
In an a first that had 17 minutes of injury time because of injuries sustained by the visitors, the Vale led 3-0 at the interval through an Andy Garnett penalty goal.
James Knox opened the try scoring for the Vale early in the second half and although a determined Tyldesley side hit back with a try the Vale upped the tempo, ripping in three tries in the space of five minutes.
Graham Muckalt, James Bryan, who was later voted Man of the Match, and James Curran, completed a passage of sparkling rugby, Garnett converting two.
Leading try scorer Curran collected a second converted by Garnett, with Garnett completing the scoring, prior to this visitors scoring and converting a deserved try in the closing minutes.
On Saturday the Vale travel to Rossendale hoping to extend their unbeaten run.
Earlier in the season the Vale won at home, 35-12, against Rossendale.
