BRYAN Fletcher admitted it was lucky 13 as the curtain was about to fall on a distinguished career.

The 33-year-old Australian thought he had played his final game as Warriors trailed 30-6 at Bradford.

But the JJB outfit's fightback means the former Sydney Roosters and South Sydney forward can delay his retirement for at least one more game. "This is my 13th year of playing and I've never experienced a comeback like that before," said Fletcher, ahead of tonight's semi-final eliminator at Hull.

"I remember thinking this would be my last game and it was a bad way to go out, especially after half-time when they made it 30-6.

"I wasn't thinking about winning then, I just wanted to enjoy it."

The veteran second row, who played eight times for the Aussies, is expected an even more challenging encounter at the KC Stadium.

He added: "I think this tie is the toughest yet out of the last four weeks because Hull are a good side who defend well and are hard to beat at home."
