LEIGH Centurions will join three other Championship clubs in playing for national pride against French teams in an inaugural Euoprean competition.
Featherstone Rovers, the 2011 Championship champions, will be at home to the 2012 French Federation winners for the European club title.
Also, Leigh will be at home to Avignon on June 2 and there will be trips to French club sides for Sheffield Eagles and Halifax over the same weekend, with all four matches making up the Anglo-French Challenge.
Should the challenge end with two wins for each country, the winners will be determined by aggregating the combined points scored in all four matches.
