LEIGH Centurions have signed Craig Hall on a two-year contract until the end of November 2019.

Hall, 29, is a vastly experienced Super League player and as well as being a prolific try-scorer throughout his career has also been a highly skilled goal-kicker.

Centurions head coach Neil Jukes said: "We're delighted to have secured Craig's services for the next two years. Craig comes with a wealth of experience and leadership qualities.

"His durability in his career to date has given him a wide range of knowledge and skill set to play extremely well in pretty much every back line position, including the halves. His point scoring record reinforces that.

"He will start immediately with the boys this week and hit the ground running as our preparations for 2018 commence."

The son of former Hull KR and Great Britain international centre David Hall, who scored 89 tries and kicked 166 goals in 383 games for the Robins between 1971 and 1985, Craig Hall comes from good Rugby League stock.

After graduating through the Hull FC academy ranks, he made a spectacular first team debut for the club, scoring three tries and kicking 11 goals in a runaway Challenge Cup victory over Hunslet in 2007.

Hall went on to play 77 games for Hull, scoring 47 tries and kicking 32 goals.

In 2009 he scored 67 points in a five-game loan spell at Widnes Vikings and in 2011 switched clubs to the east of the city by joining Hull KR and following in his father's footsteps in playing for the Robins.

Hall junior scored 42 tries and kicked 43 goals during a four-season stint with Rovers before joining Wakefield Trinity where, in two seasons, he scored 17 tries and kicked 41 goals in 40 games.

In July 2016 Hall became Toronto's first signing and was appointed captain of the fledgling club, making his debut in a Challenge Cup-tie at Siddal in February 2017.

He went on to enjoy a prolific season in Championship One, playing and scoring in every one of his new club's 25 games.

Hall was voted Championship One Player of the Year after amassing 442 points from 25 tries and 171 goals as Toronto won the title.

In his career to date he has scored 132 tries and kicked 319 goals in 227 games, 175 of his appearances being at Super League level.
