LEIGH Centurions and Wigan Warriors have announced their squads ahead of the annual Battle Of the Borough and Micky McIlorum Testimonial Game at Leigh Sports Village this Sunday.

The Centurions are gearing up for a return to the Betfred Super League, following an 11-year absence, and are relishing the opportunity to test themselves against the reigning Champions.

Both sides have named strong squads for this highly anticipated fixture.

This game will also feature the unveiling of Leigh's 2017 alternative playing kit, and the presentation of the Arthur Thomas Memorial Trophy to the Leigh Centurions man of the match chosen by his family.

McIlorum, 28, has made over 200 appearances for Wigan Warriors since making his debut as a teenager in 2007.

He played in Wigan's Super League Grand Final successes of 2010 and 2013 and their Challenge Cup final victories in 2011 and 2013.

Leigh Centurions Head Coach Neil Jukes said: "This promises to be a really tasty encounter in front of two great sets of fans.

"I'm really looking forward to the game. Wigan are bringing a strong side, and it'll be great to see how our guys go, especially the new signings."

Tickets for the Battle Of The Borough remain on sale at www.leighsportsvillage.co.uk/tickets and at the ticket office on 01942 487888.
