AS the Leigh Sports Village braces itself for Challenge Cup fever again, the Centurions are looking to their experienced heads to help keep the team's feet on the ground ahead of the visit of Super League giants Salford Red Devils.

Despite the tie being televised on Saturday it is 'business as usual' at the club according to Head Coach Paul Rowley.

"Obviously when we step out and turn up at the ground and the activity and the noise and above normal attendance creates a buzz, that will be when we will start buzzing, until then it's pretty much a normal week," he said.

"When we've got players like Oli Wilkes who has played 400 games, then it's not the first time that they've been in a situation like this.

"We have professional players that are paid to play rugby. It's no different really other than the magnitude of the occasion which you only really get on the day."

Rowley's side are in the form of their lives on a 20-game unbeaten run and they want to go one better in the television cameras,

Experienced heads will be needed for this clash and Rowley said that Fuifui Moimoi is in with a chance of featuring before adding "but I'm not willing to take any risks. If he isn't right, then he won't play."

The opposite can be said of Gareth Hock after the Centurions newest forward has been at the centre of a bizarre exchange between his current club and former club. Leigh have sought legal advice which has proven positive.

"Gareth Hock is available for selection." Rowley declared.

"The only will he, won't he scenario concerning whether Hock will play or not, is whether I pick him in my team or not. That's where I'm at with it. I've been told he's good to go."

Rowley was keen to divert attention from his outfit and admitted the Red Devils won't want to be one of the victims of a giant-killing.

"In that respect there is always going to be huge pressure on Salford; because of what they've spent, because of the way their owner is so outspoken, people always want Salford to fail." Rowley said.

"There is a lot of pressure on them whether they are playing us or anybody else.

"It's no different to them, they are accustomed to that now, they know what to expect. You can clearly see they are making a conscious effort within that group of players to build their own team spirit, the way they celebrate tries and celebrate errors."
