SUPPORTERS have the opportunity to be part of a major and exclusive event in Leigh Centurions Rugby League Club's rich history.
As part of the club’s heritage project the Kingstone Press Championship fixture against Workington Town on Saturday, August 30 at Leigh Sports Village (3pm) has been designated heritage day.
Centurions’ players will wear a one-off heritage Kit for this game and the jerseys have been inscribed with each player’s respective heritage number.
The first-team squad players will be presented with their unique heritage jersey by head coach Paul Rowley and head of rugby Derek Beaumont at a function to be held in the banqueting suite at LSV on Wednesday, 7.30pm.
A video will be shown prior to the presentation. Supporters will also get the opportunity to take photographs with the players and the Championship League Leaders Trophy.
There are a limited number of 200 tickets available for this event.
These are priced at £5 per person (no concessions) and include a pie and peas supper.
The club’s heritage booklet priced at £5 will be available for sale on the night.
