Blackpool Panthers' first game at The Woodlands saw them pull off a memorable victory over Keighley Cougars - unfortunately their second game at the Fylde RUFC ground saw them fail to repeat the trick.
Gateshead Thunder were 24-6 winners in Sundays National League Two fixture, with Gareth Jones scoring a consolation try for the Panthers aganst the men from the north east.
The Panthers now face a trip to Dewsbury Rams on Sunday before returning for their final game at the Woodlands on July 9.
