Panthers 'home' win

First published in Blackpool Panthers by

Blackpool Panthers had plenty to cheer when they started life at their new temporary home, Fylde RUFC, on Sunday.

Fellow strugglers, Keighley Cougars, had held the initiative for most of the match and had an 18-12 lead going in to the closing stages.

But Panthers bit back to win 22-18, thanks to Tom Lever's late try. Man-of-the-match Eric Andrews scored two of the Panthers' tries while Anton Garcia grabbed one.

Panthers are at Fylde again on Sunday when Gateshead are the visitors.
