ELITE LEAGUE ICE HOCKEY:
The Elite League play-offs finals will take place on the weekend of Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th April 2012 at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham.
Now in its ninth year, the spectacular finals weekend is the pinnacle of the UK ice hockey season.
The two semi-finals will take place at 1pm and 5pm on the Saturday, followed by the play-off final at 4pm on the Sunday. In addition, the annual Elite League Awards Show will now take place on the ice before the final at 1pm.
Last year’s final was a thriller as Nottingham Panthers beat Cardiff Devils 5-4, while Belfast Giants and Sheffield Steelers were losing semi-finalists.
Director of hockey operations, Andy French, said: "Finals weekend is a fantastic sporting occasion and one that supporters of all teams love to attend.
"The atmosphere is unbelievable and year-on-year the drama produced on the ice shows the calibre of talent the league has to offer."
A variety of tickets are available, from individual day tickets to weekend and family tickets. The majority of tickets sold are for the full weekend, and the price of these have been slightly reduced from last year.
Tickets will go on sale through the clubs from Wednesday 18th January to Sunday 26th February (Weekend: Adult £70, Concession/student £50, Family [2+2] £195, Saturday or Sunday only: Adult £38, Concession/student £30), and will go on general sale through the NIC box office from Friday 9th March (Weekend: Adult £80, Concession/student £55, Family [2+2] £220, Saturday or Sunday only: Adult £45 - Concession/students £36).
