Black has no Lowe concerns

ERIC Black believes Jason Lowe has returned from Serbia high on confidence despite being involved in England under–21s controversial World Cup qualifier in midweek.
Rovers’ 21-year-old midfielder was on the pitch as the qualifer ended in shameful scenes after alleged racist chanting from sections of the Serbian crowd.
UEFA has charged the Football Associations of England and Serbia in the wake of Tuesday’s match but, as the furore continues, Black insists Lowe has returned to Ewood ready for tomorrow’s trip to Derby.
He said: “I have spoken to him on his performance. That is foremost in my mind. Obviously the circumstances are ones which we never want to see.
“He performed exceptionally well in both games and is bound to be feeling pretty good.
“It is ridiculous we are still facing these things in this day and age. It has to be removed from the game.
“I am 100 per cent behind the players reporting anything like that and 100 per cent behind anything being done to try and eradicate it.”
On Thursday Serbia’s football federation requested statements from all players and staff involved in Tuesday’s international.

Jason Lowe is depriving some Sunday League Pub Side of a perfectly mediocre midfielder. This is another example of Eric Black demonstrating that he will NOT be around much longer.
After all, I'm pretty certain you don't get to captain your country at any level if you should be playing for the Rose & Crown...

Maybe the mess at Rovers over the last 18 months or so has affected his performances for us? He certainly gets good reviews from Stuart Pearce the England U21 manager and I don't think he throws false praise around. Lowe maybe has more freedom to express himself playing for his country and perhaps he needs the boost a new manager should bring to the club to show his best form for us. In the meantime I would play him at RB in place of Orr.

Murphy still has to come up with goods for Rovers and I doubt Lowe will ever match the high standards previouslt set by Murphy at his earlier clubs.
Lowe played well in both games for the under 21s bu before critising the lad note where he played. Not right back, not right wing because frankly he is not quick enough. His best position is defensive midfield although must improve his tackling and not give away so many free kicks and bookings. Give him a chance and I think he will keep Murphy out.
Good luck to the lad. He is one of us.
PS Pull your finger out Murphy and prove all your doubters wrong. It's what we need!

His position should be the CDM role alongside Etuhu, drop Murphy and watch him shine.
