FULL TIME: Blackburn Rovers 1 Middlesbrough 2
9:52pm Friday 21st September 2012 in Sport
By Andy Cryer, Blackburn Rovers reporter
BLACKBURN Rovers' unbeaten start to the Championship season came to an abrupt end as they were beaten 2-1 by Middlesbrough.
A goal in each half from Lukas Jutkiewicz gave the visitors a deserved 2-0 lead and, despite Grant Hanley's late header, Rovers were unable to claw it back.
The visitors dominated the midfield battle throughout, while Marvin Emnes gave Rovers' defence trouble throughout.
A loud chorus of jeers and 'Kean out' chants met the final whistle as the pressure continues on the Rovers boss.

Kean has to go because anytime we start losing the players just hang the heads as Kean is going to get the abuse off the fans. We need a new manager and then there is no excuses, for the fans and for the players. So everyone is trying together as a unit to succeed.
Why was Rochina not brought on, the man who has dragged us back into games.

To be perfectly honest I think we have been very lucky to have got the results we have so far and on the balance of play in all games, 8-9 points would have been more than what we have deserved.
If Shebby really has any influence at the club, he MUST report back to the owners that Kean has no idea how to manage a team, is tactically clueless and will not get us promoted. It will only get worse from here unless the decision is made to part company. So please do the job all fans want and I think we will then have a real chance.

Kean just babbled through the interview.
Got to say we should have had a penalty but that would have been a disgrace though we did not deserve a point.

One of the worst displays of football I have ever seen and the defence all over the place!!!
Orr, Dann and Murphy completely out played so god knows what Hendry is doing as defensive coach - a complete waste of time and money - yes I pity those who paid to watch such an abysmal display to the point were chants of Kean out became more and more audible!!
For those who choose to pay and watch such 'crap' I feel sorry and for those like me who choose not to visit Ewood whilst this clown Kean is in charge I take no credit - just sorry for all concerned.

According to Kean - we had a good start , then the goal went in and then we went a bit flat, no sh it sherlock, so flat, we got played off the park. So we should have had a penalty, the speed it happened at, the player in the way, the ref would never give it, the bottom line is, we weren't good enough over the 90 mins, it would probably have been harsh on Boro if we'd have equalised. Tactically inept, Kean Out.

What you and the rest of the idiots that keep coming on here slating the fans that are going to the matches are missing is that we all agree Kean should go!!!
The fans that are going just want to support the team as in my opinion every fan should want to do.
If you had been at Barnsley on Tuesday you would have heard Rovers fans chanting Kean out.
Unfortunately you were being a true fan and sitting on your settee!
Whilst on your settee tonight you would have heard 12,000 fans chanting Kean out again
Everyone wants Kean out EVERYONE!!!
The only difference between you and the fans that are going is that you choose to sit on your arse and complain all the time.
The fans that are going are still supporting the team (as you would have been able to hear tonight on the tv) and also voicing their anger and frustrations at Kean (again as you could probably hear on the tv)
Nobody is happy with the fact Kean is the manager.

If you had not noticed we had a supremely well run club in the hands of genuine people who knew what they were doing.
A massive difference if you know anything about running a football club.

Right that was atrocious apart from Fabio Nunes.
But then neither does the booing of our players during the game. That was as disgraceful as some of the players performances and may have been partially responsible for some of their weak efforts. How can you boo your own players during a game? I thought that was done with when Andrews went....to hear it again tonight was terrible and embarrassing.
If Kean has not gone by Monday then it will be obvious that the stay-aways tactics are NOT working - what then for the club? What else is there still to do?

Whilst on your settee tonight you would have heard 12,000 fans chanting Kean out again
Everyone wants Kean out EVERYONE!!!

The fans that are going are still supporting the team (as you would have been able to hear tonight on the tv) and also voicing their anger and frustrations at Kean (again as you could probably hear on the tv)
Nobody is happy with the fact Kean is the manager.
Whats the point in kicking your fellow fans when everyone wants the same thing????
The point is the fans at the ground got very much behind the team and you must have been able to hear that on the tv.
Whilst at the same time I would have thought you would be able to hear that Kean got the usual if not more amount of stick

Your best team ever!!!
Well non of the back five are good enough including Givet so that's 5 of the 11
Add money grabbing Murphy and his mate Etuhu makes 7 out of 11
Add Bruno to the list 8 out of 11 and you have your answer.
Kean you have had all end of last season plus the whole of preseason to get it right and you have failed miserably.
You are out of your depth and consequently have to go.
Don't try to fabricate anymore excuses, especially when you have stated it's your best squad.
Please go by tomorrow morning and let us get a new manager in by next weekend.

Anyone who went that night, and is now coming on here pretending that they are boycotting matches for some honourable reason,is fooling nobody but himself.
If you had not taken the crowd up to the 10,000 ish do you think Kean would still be here.
You have all prolonged his stay and given the Venkys that justification to keep him on. Your the deluded ones
Had only 2 / 3,000 turned up to our games do you think they would not have had to say enoughs enough.
Your claims of wanting Kean out are pathetic little comments for if you TRULY hated him you would not grace him with your presence.
Bit like the miners who still will not speak to those that crossed the picket lines you lot disgust me and when I return ( which ever league that is when Kean goes) I will always be thinking who am I sitting next to!!!!!
This episode has driven a massive schism which will never ever be rectified so rather than correspond with you just take it that I will never ever respect the stance you and many like you have taken.

The spartans, as you put it, don't support Kean they are supporting the club. The would like nothing better than to see Kean go and be replaced, but who ever owns or is manager of the club is irrelevant. They support the club through thick and thin, rain and shine, promotion and demotion.
Please try and keep up it's really not that difficult
Time for a new approach . . . . .
It's either ALL go and demonstrate our feelings throughout the game which no doubt will demoralize the players and their performance.
Or ALL stay away until such time Shebby utters the words we all want to hear "STEVE, TIME'S UP, YOU'RE FIRED !"
The first option has been tried many times without achieving the desired result. Let's ALL get together to give the second option a real chance to succeed !

Whats the point in kicking your fellow fans when everyone wants the same thing????
If you want rid of Kean as you say, why don't you do something about it like the boycotters are trying to do?

Defensively we are poor no plyer n the park is organising as a unit - what benefit Hendryhas brought is minimal. Midfield we are outpaced I agree Murphy and Etuhu lok disinterested Nunes flashy going forward but little end product and defensively he could have sat in the stands and watched as he provided NO cover whatsoever downour left flank. Rovers need to learn to defend as ateam quickly.
Up front no service until the charge of the Alamo in the last 5 minutes - Why did it take them that long to apply some pressure? and why didnt Kean use his third substitute in the last 20 minutes when 2 down?
We are still in a decent position but Kean will never ever win the fans over -so the acrimony will continue and the club will never be united - time to be decisive Venkys but your reputation for dithering has me fearing the worst

I, like thousands of others have decided not to go until Kean has gone. We're taking the short term pain for the long term gain, but your type are only prolonging the agony. Try to see beyond the end of your nose. Be a man and do something about it.

I have to say that was was absolute ****. We have not played well in any games especially at home. Quite frankly got out of jail from some quality goals in every game. He has to change that midfield murphy and etihu are just not in the game or gave the ball away. For him to just stand there and not change it in the last 20 mins to try and at least get an undeserved draw was disgraceful. I do fear the worst now. That was the first time I have not cheered when we scored but it was all pathetic and we were never in this game.

We lost ball control and miss lots of passes to opposite players. They really outplayed with there pace in the game. So our young players should should act fast with first team and get a break to old legs for few matchs

I feel , Steve will be happy to say few words now better than he loose few more matchs with old legs. So it will be win win positional change for steve and his management.
Now all the team aganist us understood, If u want play with blackburn , get the fast runner into the team, they will win the match. What he is talking about best squad, where the players are not FIT to control passes and get tired after 10mts in the ground.
Fabio Nunes is a good player, but we need to give more playing time to build as a best winger. On traning ground he should pratice more on shoots with different angle, get ideas from the master pedersen.
David Dunn should speak about his position in the team, The bench is getting hotter after every match. why ? not even 10 mts after 7 matchs. Why u carry the bench everywhere, because I love D.Dunn game, I feel great with his passion to win the match.
