JORDAN Rhodes scored on his home debut to make it three goals in two games as Rovers went in 1-1 at half time against Barnsley.
In a below par first half performance from Steve Kean’s side, Jacob Mellis gave The Tykes the lead on the half hour mark, firing high in to the roof of the net beyond Paul Robinson.
Rovers, who had Dickson Etuhu booked in the 41st minute, appeared to be going in at the break trailing until the £8m striker struck a minute before half time.
Bradley Orr whipped a free kick in to the area and Rhodes fired the ball home from close range.
