  • "If we were going to get any positives from this game today (yes I actually said 'positives' please don't laugh too loudly in my face) we should've given the youth team a run out - didn't our youth team just play Chelsea's recently?

It was a 'nothing game' in every sense of the word, Chelsea clearly having their sights set on the big game next weekend...and who can blame them?

I though this would've been a good opportunity for Kean to throw some fresh faces in and tell them to just go out and attack, I mean what would it have mattered if we'd have lost 7-1 instead of 2-1?

Instead, rather than throw caution to the wind and give some new blood a run out for some prize first team experience, he picks the same pathetic pile of dog s*** that has served us so impeccably all season. Why?
Was there any need for Dann, Givet, the Olsson twins (always sounds like some sort of pop singing duo to me when I say that) Formica, Pedersen, Hoilett, Yakubu, Lowe, etc?

Steve, we've seen these play all season and, the Yak and Junior aside, they're all crap. Give someone else a game.
Apart from the lad at right back and the keeper it was the sam old story, change the channel Kean.

I don't even know why i'm so bothered about a completely irrelevant game, but it's just the fact that we sat back and defended again (well, we tried to, everyone knows we can't)

Even when there's nothing to lose we cower to our opposition and show absolutely no drive and desire to go forward, terrified of crossing the half way line.

    I don't know, what a miserable b*****d I am."

FULL-TIME: Chelsea 2 Blackburn Rovers 1

BLACKBURN Rovers ended their relegation season on a low after slipping to defeat to Chelsea.

Rovers held out for half an hour against the Champions League finalists.

But John Terry gave Chelsea the lead with a close ranger header.

Just a few minutes later, Rovers were further behind following a low shot from Raul Meireles.

Rovers reduced the deficit on the hour mark when Yakubu headed home.
