FULL-TIME: Chelsea 2 Blackburn Rovers 1
5:04pm Sunday 13th May 2012 in Sport
BLACKBURN Rovers ended their relegation season on a low after slipping to defeat to Chelsea.
Rovers held out for half an hour against the Champions League finalists.
But John Terry gave Chelsea the lead with a close ranger header.
Just a few minutes later, Rovers were further behind following a low shot from Raul Meireles.
Rovers reduced the deficit on the hour mark when Yakubu headed home.

The Venkeys need to relinquish our club because if they remain with their ignorant arrogance and leave the bald seagull in charge we wont have any fans and will be relegated again.

The situation is so extreme that it cannot last.
Those of us who travelled the country watching Rovers in the third and second divisions know that we WILL be back.

Why does Mrs Desai not see sense? There are only two possible answers. Firstly, that in fact Kean and maybe Anderson havea big say as to who runs the club. Secondly, Steve Keane has a hold over Mrs Desai. I cannot think that the Venkys would not sack this complete failure if they could. Kean failure has cost the Venkys millions of pounds because of relegation and lost revenue next season because I project the at the home gates are going to be abysmal until Kean goes. The reputation of the Venkys as a serious business has also been severely damaged. The Venkys should sack Kean and appoint a sound experienced manager who will get with the job; my preference would be for Mick McCarthy. The Venkys should also cut any links at all they have with Jerome Anderson. Finally appoint an experienced CEO and assistant. Incidentally I am sorry that Paul Hunt has left the club and thank him for his efforts; I hope that he finds a suitable post quickly.

Well ! What a day of celebration ! Rovers down , the final nail in the coffin , judas's Bolton down, you couldn't have wished for a better finish to the season, and the party down Burnley is in full swing, fancy dress in the theme of India is the party dress of the day, we have loads of people with the red dots on their foreheads, and plenty dressed up in traditional indian garb, in respect of our friends the VENKYS , the beers flowing and the good times a rolling !!

Seriously. Really f*cking pathetic.
They are sh*t, they know they are.
Can't take the p*ss because they're in a higher league, have won more or trophies, have a world class stadium or good support with half decent attendances.
So what do they do?
Celebrate a team being relegated to their sh*t league with their sh*t club and their sh*t fans.
It is mildly embarrassing.
Not beaten us for 34 years and out supported and outplayed the last time we met them either in the PL or the Championship.
We dared to dream and along came every B*rnley manager since 1977.

It was a 'nothing game' in every sense of the word, Chelsea clearly having their sights set on the big game next weekend...and who can blame them?
I though this would've been a good opportunity for Kean to throw some fresh faces in and tell them to just go out and attack, I mean what would it have mattered if we'd have lost 7-1 instead of 2-1?
Instead, rather than throw caution to the wind and give some new blood a run out for some prize first team experience, he picks the same pathetic pile of dog s*** that has served us so impeccably all season. Why?
Was there any need for Dann, Givet, the Olsson twins (always sounds like some sort of pop singing duo to me when I say that) Formica, Pedersen, Hoilett, Yakubu, Lowe, etc?
Steve, we've seen these play all season and, the Yak and Junior aside, they're all crap. Give someone else a game.
Apart from the lad at right back and the keeper it was the sam old story, change the channel Kean.
I don't even know why i'm so bothered about a completely irrelevant game, but it's just the fact that we sat back and defended again (well, we tried to, everyone knows we can't)
Even when there's nothing to lose we cower to our opposition and show absolutely no drive and desire to go forward, terrified of crossing the half way line.
I don't know, what a miserable b*****d I am.

Draw your own conclusions...at present quality in our youth system is our only chink of light. But we can't rely upon them alone!
We are now a 2nd rate club, owned by a 2nd rate company with a 2nd rate loser as a manager! Venky's we are awaiting the big changes needed.

The money to buy the club is being paid by Jack Walker's legacy (ie the sale of players and tv rights). Kean has now said that initial debt has been paid off so Kean and Anderson will be quids in awaiting the parachute payments and more player sales. They will sell up and leave as soon as the final parachute payment is made. Why else would Steve Kean be manager and why else would they sign Jerome Anderson's useless son??
Changes are needed now to allow the club to re-group. As far as I can see Ewood Park is rudderless, no one in charge with the required experience to deal with choppy waters and to move forward. The sooner the Venkys wake up, goodness have they not cottoned on yet that this club is in extreme danger. It is no coincidence that the three clubs which have gone down come from Lancahire and the West Midlands and the two promoted come from the South. The Venkys should start by dismissing Steve Kean and winding up any relationship they have with Jerome Anderson and start running the Rovers as a professional football club again.

Coz moses sucks balls. As you can see venky's, if you hire a decent manager, as QPR did, you have a chance but, because you stuck with bobby bulsh@t Keanochio, we now have a manager with the worst history in the modern game.
Notlob also found to their cost, you can't sell your best players and replace them with plop and expect to stay up. QPR strengthened their squad and we sold our best player when the window was already shut.
Keanochio you are t@sser and you must leave now.
