BLACKBURN Rovers could he handed an exciting new production line of players after it has emerged sports agency Kentaro are part of the VH Group’s bid for the club.

The Indian-based chicken industry giants will provide the necessary investment but it is now believed they have teamed up with Kentaro in an attempt to move the club forward if they do gain control.

While any deal is still far from done, progress has been made over the past few days with talks expected to continue this week.

Indian tycoon and rival bidder Ahsan Ali Syed has far from given up on his efforts to purchase the club and should not be discounted in the process yet.

Rovers though are still not expecting any deal to be completed in the next few days and don’t believe anything will be finalised, if talks continue to go well, until the end of November.

Worldwide agency Kentaro specialises in the acquisition and distribution of the international television rights of national football federations, football clubs and leagues.

They also have a number of in-house agents who deal in talent management and last year sealed a corporate partnership deal with Jerome Anderson’s renowned Sport Entertainment and Media Group.

SEM represents more than 150 professional footballers and clubs in Europe’s top leagues, and top media personalities, and has worked for the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Thierry Henry and John Obi Mikel.

Kentaro could use the potential purchase of Rovers as a way of introducing some of their top young foreign talent to the English game.
