Over ten seasons I've been to Ewood on matchdays more often than Dunny. :-)

got to agree with longtime. When Dunny is fit and been kept away from the booze and pies, he is one of the best english midfield players in the country. it's just them injuries that will stop him from reaching his full potential.

Dunny has been a good servant to our special club and he is the only long serving senior member to truly have the passion this club has from its fans "when they actually turn up at Ewood" but in saying that Dunny's medical conditions are not what this club needs and if he cant once and for all, finally sort his long running injury problems out it would be best to let him go and replace with a younger player who can give us 30+ games a season

It's got to be faced that Dunny is a shadow of his former self and no more than a bit part player. We made the mistake last season of building a style of play around him, which due to his early form looked the right thing to do but when he broke down we did not have the player of his style and the system broke down.He can do a job from the bench when a bit of guile is needed to break down the resistance of lesser teams but I don't want to see him chugging through matches like
one of Fed Dibnahs prize possesions.

The local lad has ripped Burnley apart everytime he has played against them - what more do we want?
.
I think 25 to 30 games a season is realistic for a couple of years yet so we should keep him in the squad.

Why do people always focus on the negatives. He is one of few players with genuine flair. He may not be fit every week but can we not just be happy with the 20 odd games a season he does play. Because in those games he conjures up more magic than most of those who play in all 38.

The fact he is not fit to play and does'nt look fit when he does play,is not looking for negatives it's a fact.He had flair he was a top player now he's a shadow of that player.Against Arsenal he was far below his best, sad to see but fact and to place to much reliance on his contribution to the cause is misplaced loyalty.
