David Dunn put Blackburn in the driving seat at the Reebok Stadium by opening the scoring in the 32nd minute.
He clipped a shot into the corner beyond Bolton goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen following a flowing move.
Bolton almost took the lead in the 31st minute when Taylor’s free-kick took a deflection off Ryan Nelsen and came back off the bar.
Blackburn hit back immediately and took the lead a minute later with a flowing move that rocked the home side.
Di Santo started it and released Roberts, who in turn found Dunn. The midfielder steadied himself and found the corner with his effort for his sixth goal of the season.
Blackburn, however were forced to make a change in the 36th minute with Gael Givet limping off and being replaced by Lars Jacobsen.
Bolton almost drew level in stoppage time when Taylor whipped in a free-kick that Paul Robinson did well to push over. Then Taylor headed high into the crowd from inside the six-yard area.

OMG!! Bolton giving goals away ha ha ha ha. Hurrendous defending and guess what Rovers fans will say that they played Bolton off park when truth is, Midfielder scores goal on break from Bolton switching off, Bolton miss chance after chance and then worst own goal in years. dear oh dear.
