ROVERS have announced they are to carry out regular spot-checks to ensure that supporters aren’t misusing tickets for games at Ewood Park.
The club say that anyone found to be in possession of an incorrect ticket will be refused entry.
A club statement said: “Blackburn Rovers have been made aware of instances where tickets are being misused.
“The club have a duty of care to those supporters who are paying full price for their tickets and to ensure adult/child ratios meet the criteria set out in our ticketing policies.
“Therefore, we will be making spot-checks regularly over the coming matches.
“Any supporter who is not in possession of the correct ticket will be refused entry and asked to return to the ticket office for an upgrade and could be moved to an alternative section of the stadium.”
