ROVERS will check on the fitness of Bradley Dack this morning before deciding on whether he features in tomorrow’s home game with Doncaster Rovers.
Dack was forced off in the opening day defeat at Southend with a tight hamstring which also ruled him out of Tuesday’s Carabao Cup win at Coventry City.
But boss Tony Mowbray said: “He had his boots on and joined in with the warm-up and then went and did some work the medical team.
“He was kicking balls about, running around poles, and generally when they’re doing that you wait and see if there’s any reaction.”
The game will however come too soon for defender Darragh Lenihan.
He added: “Darragh is not on the grass yet, but the scans and x-rays have shown up pretty clear and we’re hopeful that will be a short (absence) rather than a longer period.
“What is showing up is that he’s had a knock on an old injury and there’s some inflammation around it, a bit of fluid, but the positive is that there’s no extra damage done.
“The physio said to me it could be a few days, or it could be a few weeks, depending on how he deals with the pain.”
