We asked our fans' jury: "What have you made of Tony Mowbray's first month in charge at Blackburn Rovers?"

"When Mowbray walked through door I was not that impressed with the appointment. But he’s proved a lot of people wrong. He’s transformed our fortunes around and there is slight optimism returning to Ewood Park, even if we are still in the relegation zone.

"Keeping the unbeaten run going is great, but we would be much better off having less draws and more points on the board.

"The fans have travelled in their numbers to recent away games and got right behind the team. All the supporters ask for right now is something to be proud of. We were certainties for the drop under Owen Coyle. Mowbray has changed that.

"Eleven points from seven games is a decent return and I believe our performances have merited more. There’s a group of teams now on 40 or 41 points and if we keep playing like this, we have every chance of getting out of trouble."

Sam Jones

"My first reaction was "as well as can be expected". However, we are still in the bottom three, the defence is still awful, we continue to give away silly goals and fail to mark opposition danger men like Paul Gallagher.

So has anything really changed?

Drawing matches at home is prime relegation material and with the awful fixture list to come, Mr Mowbray will have to pull several rabbits out of the hat if we are to survive.

Problem is do we have any capable rabbits and is there a hat trick imminent?"

Paul Yates

"Tony Mowbray has come into the club and brought the players together.

"He has tackled our defensive frailties whilst maintaining our attacking intent. Most importantly, he has instilled a defiance and a belief that we can beat anyone, even from a goal behind.

"Notably, Tony Mowbray has put faith in both Danny Guthrie and Marvin Emnes, two players who are comfortable in possession which reflects his philosophy of ball retention.

"With the improved mood, performances and results, it bemuses me how we can still be in the bottom three, for now at least."
