BLACKBURN Rovers ace Charlie Mulgrew has been included in the Scotland squad for the upcoming friendly against Canada and the World Cup qualifier against Slovenia.
Mulgrew missed Rovers' weekend draw with Norwich City with a tight hamstring and faces a race against time to be fit for Tuesday's clash at Fulham.
But the 31-year-old has been included in Gordon Strachan's 30-man Scotland squad.
Scotland take on Canada at Easter Road on March 22 before the World Cup qualifier against Slovenia at Hampden Park four days later.
There is no place for Rovers defender Gordon Greer but former Ewood midfielder Tom Cairney, now at Fulham, has been handed his first senior call up.
Celtic's Stuart Armstrong and Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser are also included while there is a recall for Hull goalkeeper Allan McGregor.
Former Rovers pair Grant Hanley and Jordon Rhodes are also in the squad.
