FORMER Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Bentley has hit out at owners Venky's after another managerial change at Ewood Park.

Speaking to TalkSport, Bentley praised the 'small town club' but condemned the owners for 'getting lost' in the finances.

He said: "Blackburn have been going around in circle since I left - the big money coming in from the Indian guys.

"It's a small town club with great people, down to earth people.

"They've changed managers so often, hopefully he (Tony Mowbray) can come in and stabilise the club.

"They've got great people around the place so it's a real shame the way they have gone.

"It's all about the money, but they should be about the heart of the club and not the finances. I think Venky's have got lost in all that."

Owen Coyle parted ways with Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday and was replaced yesterday by former Celtic boss Tony Mowbray.

Rovers legend David Dunn was promoted to first team coach.
