They’ve got a lot of home games coming up so they’ve got to start winning at home.

Years ago nobody used to like coming to Ewood Park, it was a hard ground to get a result at, but that’s not the case now, they’re not winning enough home games.

It’s swings and roundabouts at the moment. The fans want the players to give them something to cheer and the players want the fans to get behind them from the start.

All you can say to the fans is no matter what is going on off the pitch try and get behind the team from kick-off. Teams who are successful at home usually have their fans behind them right from the start.

You can understand the fans’ frustrations but just try and get behind the team from the kick-off.

You’ve got to start keeping clean sheets, otherwise you’ve got to score two goals in a game to win it and that’s not always going to happen.

The big selection dilemma for Owen Coyle is probably what to do with Ben Marshall. I’ve seen Ben a couple of times at right-back and he gets forward as well, but I would get Jason Lowe back in there and move Ben further forward.

He’s a very attack-minded player and he creates chances, so I think you need him further forward.

He’s probably Rovers’ most creative player so when you’re struggling for goals you need him high up the pitch.
