CAPTAIN Jason Lowe is set for a re-call to the Blackburn Rovers side for the visit of Nottingham Forest tonight.

Ewood boss Owen Coyle has praised the versatility of Lowe, who can operate at right-back or midfield, as well as that of Ben Marshall, who filled in at full-back on Saturday and turned in a man-of-the-match display, but usually players further forward.

Of Lowe, Coyle said: "He’s done well for us at full-back.

"He's Blackburn Rovers through and through. Wherever you ask Jason to play he will pour his heart and soul into it because of his love for the club.

"There’s no doubt he’s done well at full-back but he is capable of playing centre midfield as well.

"Ben is one of these players who is capable of playing a number of positions and bringing quality to his play.

"At the weekend at full-back he put a wonderful cross in early and I think he was probably our best player on the day.

"We do have flexibility even though we have injuries, we have players who can slot into different roles."
