BLACKBURN Rovers may be limping over the line in the Championship this season but 15 years ago on Monday they were celebrating a return to the Premier League.
Matt Jansen’s 72nd-minute strike secured a vital 1-0 victory at Preston North End and sparked scenes of joy among the thousands of Rovers fans packed into Deepdale.
