BLACKBURN Rovers’ squad for this Saturday’s Championship clash at Middlesbrough is set to receive a triple boost.

Striker Danny Graham, having been cup-tied for last Saturday’s FA Cup win at Oxford United, will return for the trip to his former club.

Jordi Gomez is in line to make his debut after making a deadline-day beating loan move from Middlesbrough’s north-east rivals Sunderland.

And fellow midfielder Hope Akpan will also come into contention after recovering from the knee knock that ruled him out against Oxford.

But Chris Brown serves the final match of his suspension while fellow forward Nathan Delfouneso and midfielders Lee Williamson, Danny Guthrie and Jason Lowe remain injured.

Asked for an update on Lowe, who has been sidelined since August with a long-standing foot injury, Rovers boss Paul Lambert said: “He’s out with the physios now and he’s feeling pretty good within himself.

“We don’t know too much about Jason because we’ve not seen him play but hopefully he’ll get back pretty soon and to be fair to him he’s working hard.”
