GOALKEEPER Paul Robinson said the chance to prolong his career at Burnley was "too good an opportunity to turn down".
The former Leeds, Tottenham and Blackburn Rovers stopper has been without a club since his Ewood Park contract ended at the end of last season.

But following an elbow injury to Matt Gilks, which is likely to keep the stopper sidelined until later next month, Clarets boss Sean Dyche turned to free agent Robinson.
And the 36-year-old, who has been training with Nottingham Forest, said he jumped at the chance.
"It was a little bit out of the blue, but I spoke to the manager and it was too good an opportunity to turn down to be part of this club," said Robinson, who has made almost 500 club appearances and won 41 England caps.
"He is a manager that I respect, seeing what he has done to the this football club, and he is someone that I would like to work with."
And Robinson says his long-standing links to rivals Rovers, with 202 appearances in seven years at Ewood Park, will have no bearing on his new chapter at Turf Moor.
"I don't think it's a problem for me," he said. "I'm really enjoying getting back into football.
"I've had a bit of time off and got fit again and it's just nice to join a fantastic football club.
"The 'divide' for me, there's no problem whatsoever.
"I had a lot of happy years there - there were some good times and some bad times, but that's in the past now.
"My contract finished where I was at Blackburn and the opportunity here was too good to turn down. I've got to look to the future."
And Robinson says he is looking forward to working with Clarets' number one Tom Heaton, and helping him for club and country, with the captain hoping for a place in Roy Hodgson's squad for Euro 2016.
"I've been very impressed with him," said Robinson.
"I think his performances this year have spoken for themselves.
"I he is a very confident goalkeeper, a good all-round goalkeeper and I'm looking forward to working with him on the training ground."
