BLACKBURN Rovers have been forced to make one change for today’s Championship clash with Hull City.

Tom Lawrence, who came off the bench to set up one goal and score his first for the club in last Saturday’s 3-0 win at home to Charlton Athletic, has taken the place of Fode Koita.

Koita has picked up a knee knock in training and, after being rated touch and go, has not travelled to the KC Stadium.

Neither has centre-back Matt Kilgallon, who has failed to recover from the slight hamstring strain he sustained in Tuesday’s behind-closed-doors friendly with Fleetwood Town.

Hull make seven changes to the team that started their 1-0 Capital One Cup home win over top-flight Swansea City on Tuesday.

Goalkeeper Allan McGregor, captain Michael Dawson and fellow defender Moses Odubajo, midfielders Tom Huddlestone, Mo Diame and Sam Clucas, and striker Abel Hernandez earn recalls for the Tigers, who have won five and drawn one of their six home matches so far this season.

Hull: McGregor, Odubajo, Davies, Dawson, Robertson, Elmohamady, Diame, Huddlestone, Clucas, Akpom, Hernandez. Subs: Jakupovic, Meyler, Maguire, Livermore, Maloney, Hayden, Aluko.

Rovers: Steele, Henley, Hanley, Duffy, Olsson, Conway, Evans, Guthrie, Marshall, Lawrence, Rhodes. Subs: Raya, Spurr, Delfouneso, Williamson, O’Sullivan, Akpan, Lenihan.
