WE asked Blackburn Rovers fans on Twitter whether they would see Jordan Rhodes or try and keep the striker despite the former Huddersfield man expressing his desire to talk to Championship rivals Middlesbrough.
And with Rhodes’ strike partner Rudy Gestede also in demand, can Rovers afford to lose both their starting forwards this summer?
Here’s how you saw it.
Sell him not one player is bigger than the club but we want £15m £12 upfront £3m if promoted @Blackburn85
14-15m straight cash, will be a long season ahead @pokermaniac2012
Stand firm with “must meet £15m valuation” & add he’s left it too close to start of season to force a move @bauer_jnr
Tell Boro we want £15 mil and remind everyone exactly why we can’t replace him as we are under embargo. So no wiggle room @maccy1986
Ideally I’d like him to stay, but there’s no way he is worth £12m+.if we get offered that we should take it straight away @JonnyD244
If he really doesn’t want to be here offload him @KyleBrfc23
Difficult to keep an unhappy player gone public.Pretty clear that he sees Boro as a more credible promotion candidate @jtattersall83
We need to be realistic, as long as FFP exists in the championship we have to be a selling club, not enough income @damianclapham
Keep him until January and play fair to the lad, if we are doing pants go with our blessing couldn’t really blame him @Artey1875
Sell both might give us a chance of transfer ban being lifted in January @Garythegreat43
Snap their hand off for £12m. Crazy money @DarrenPickens
Rhodes wants out, you don’t keep an unhappy player @chopmoose
£15m Rhodes & £10m Gestede, money upfront.. don’t meet it then not for sale @Hughesy84
Let Rhodes go for £12m see if we can persuade Rudy to sign a new deal wage increase with 8mill release @roverpaul82
Sell both. Due to FFP we need the cash + them off the wage bill, then focus on players who want to help club @ninjathunder
