BLACKBURN Rovers U18s head coach Brian Carey has completed his move to Chesterfield.
Carey, who will become assistant manager to former Rovers coach Dean Saunders at the League One outfit, said: “I’m delighted to be here and I’m really looking forward to the challenge.
“Dean can ask me for an opinion and I’ll give it. He’s bubbly and enthusiastic and we have a good working relationship.
“I can see the progress that has been made here and it’s a great opportunity. The team did well last season and there are some solid foundations for us to build on.”
Carey was previously number two to Saunders at Wrexham, Doncaster and Wolves.
