BLACKBURN Rovers midfielder Corry Evans has been called up into the Northern Ireland squad for their international double header.
The 24-year-old has been named in Michael O’Neill’s 28-man party for the friendly with Qatar at Crewe Alexandra’s Gresty Road home on Sunday, May 31 and the crucial Euro 2016 qualifier at home to Romania on Saturday, June 13.
Northern Ireland, who are bidding to qualify for a major tournament for the first time in 30 years, are second in Group F, one point behind table-topping Romania and four points above Hungary in third.
Evans has won 27 international caps.
