MUSIC legend James Taylor will be playing Glasgow as part of his first solo tour since 1976.
The American singer-songwriter and guitarist will be performing two gigs at the Royal Concert Hall on April 12 and 30.
He began his career in the late 1960s with a guitar, suitcase and a handful of original songs.
As his audience grew, so did his band and he began to write songs with a large ensemble in mind.
However, on this tour he will be playing more "stripped-down" versions of his classic songs, such as Fire And Rain and You've Got a Friend.
Larry Goldings, a one-man band, will accompany Taylor on piano, organ, synth, harmonium and melodica.
