QUEEN'S PARK boss Gardner Speirs has taken heart from his side's battling performance against Irn-Bru Division Two title chasers Raith Rovers at Stark's Park.
The amateur outfit went down 1-0 to their Fife rivals with Graham Weir grabbing the winner.
However, Speirs, whose team is battling to avoid getting dragged into the play-offs, was proud of his players and reckoned they could have snatched a draw.
He said: "It took a while for us to believe in ourselves, but once we did we gave them a game."
Irn-Bru Third Division promotion hopefuls Dumbarton drew 1-1 with Albion Rovers thanks to a late equaliser from Ross Clark.
