DESCRIBE THE BAND: Up-beat, energetic quartet trying to write electro rock songs and play shows to make you dance and spill your pint.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED? Inverness.

LINE-UP: Angus, 21, vocals, synth, guitar; Tristan, 19, vocals, bass, synth; Stuart, 22, guitar; Blair, 20, drums, electronic beats, samples.

WHEN AND HOW DID YOU FORM? Stuart, Tristan and Angus started jamming in a bedroom at the end of 2005 with drums from a laptop. They progressed to playing with a temporary drummer at the start of 2006, before Blair soon took over drum duties in June 2006 - they've never looked back!

RELEASED ANY RECORDS? Just a self-released demo of three recently recorded tracks which is available at gigs.

SUPPORTED ANY MAJOR BANDS? The Fratellis in Inverness in March last year.

WHAT MAKES YOU SPECIAL?

We're here to have fun and we want you to have fun with us. On stage, we dance like idiots and muck about with a strobe light. We are so full of energy sometimes we exhaust the audience!

WHAT ARE YOUR INFLUENCES? We all listen to different stuff, a lot from record labels such as Subpop, Factory, Saddle Creek. Also bands like the Cure, Hot Chip, Bloc Party and the Rapture.

WHAT ARE YOUR CAREER HIGHLIGHTS SO FAR? Playing with the Fratellis and Cord. Plus our first Tut's date with the Cinematics and Little Doses, it was a really great way to end 2006.

WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE PLANS? We want to keep doing new songs, play as many shows as possible and generally keep writing songs which challenge and excite both us and you. Plus get more supports and build our fan base across Scotland in the new year.

WHEN'S YOUR NEXT GLASGOW GIG? January 19 at Barfly, with Dashing White Sergeants and Our Beloved. IF you are a new band or singer and fancy getting the chance to tell Glasgow gig-goers all about yourself, e-mail vicky.davidson@eveningtimes.co.uk If you've got news, make the subject heading: NEW BAND news, and if you want to be featured in our new band spotlight, make the subject heading: NEW BAND Q&A.

Bands will only be featured if they have an upcoming gig in the city, so give us plenty of advance warning of your show, and don't forget to send your contact name and number, and website link if you have one.
