CHELSEA could find themselves in trouble if they don't appoint a top-notch manager to replace Jose Mourinho.
Losing 2-0 to Man United was a low end to a difficult week for the Stamford Bridge club - but there could be worse to follow if the right changes aren't made.
Avram Grant might be a friend of the owner, Roman Abramovich, but I'm not so sure he is the right man to succeed the Special One.
What Chelsea need is someone with a big reputation, someone with his own ideas, who will take sole control of the team without interference from the boardroom.
Whether Abramovich will go for someone like that - and allow them a free hand - remains to be seen, but he could find the title soon out of reach if he doesn't.
As for Mourinho, he's left with more than a few quid in his pocket and I'm sure he'll find a leading club before the end of the season.
