CHARITY bosses are giving Glasgow runners another chance to take part in the UK's biggest half marathon.

The Royal National Institute for the Deaf in Scotland is offering a limited number of extra places for the Great North Run.

RNID's places are available on a first-come, first-served basis to prospective fundraisers who pay a £38 registration fee and raise a minimum of £300 for the charity.

The 13-mile event from Newcastle to South Shields will take place on Sunday, October 5.
